The New York Giants defensive linemen Osi Umenyiora was there best defensive linemen and he got hurt today and is out for the rest of the season. He has damaged his left knee bad and will not come back even if the Giants end up making the playoffs, right not that looks pretty doubtful. And MRI was done Sunday and this is what Dr. Russell Warren had to say about Osi, "Osi Umenyiora choose to have surgery Tuesday and be sidelined for the rest of the season."

Like I said this is a huge lose for them right now, Michael Strahan retired few months ago and now they lost another pro-bowler to an injure for the rest of the season, this looks bad for the defense, I don't know if Osi can be replaced, he was just that good. He lead the NFL in sacks last season and that tells you something this guy is one of the best defensive linemens in the game right now.

I say the smartest choice is to bring Mathias Kiwanuka back to play defensive end, right now he is playing linebacker, Justin Tuck and Mathias Kiwanuka would make a good duo, so at least you know you don't have a scrub coming in there and taking over the starting roll. I don't think Fred Robbins is good enough to take that starting roll yet, so I would defintaly move Mathias Kiwanuka back to the defensive line.

The unimaginable became imaginable, Michael Phelps is the greatest of all time! He came to Beijing, China and become the greatest swimmer to ever step foot in water. He has 8 gold-medals, no man in History of mankind has won that many gold medals in one event. His swimming ability is so fast that no man on Earth comes close this Michael Phelps.

Michael Phelps team helped him win his 8th gold medal in the 400-meter medley relay team race. Aaron Peirsol, Brendan Hansen, Phelps and Jason Lezak won in a world-record of 3 minutes, 29.34 seconds, lowering the old mark of 3:30.68 set four years ago in Athens.

Australia took the silver in 3:30.04. And Japan earned the bronze in 3:31.18.

John Lynch went up to the New England area to visit, and the day after he was up there he got signed to a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the New England Patriots. The former Denver Broncos safety will make the New England defense more dangerous right now. If your a Patriots fan this is a great pick up after losing Asante Samuel to the Philadelphia Eagles. John Lynch brings leadership and character, to help the Patriots make a comeback to the Super Bowl again.

Bill Belichick became interested in Lynch after losing safety Tank Williams for the season because of a knee injury. Williams was expected to be used 10-to-25 plays a game in certain defensive packages that needed a hard-hitting safety.

"I still have a great passion for the game of football," Lynch said after being released by the Broncos. "I still very much love it in my heart. I still feel like I can compete at a Pro Bowl level, but the situation is going to have to be right. I'm not going to just play for any team or any situation."

Chad Pennington has landed a two-year deal with the Miami Dolphins, the contract is worth $11.5 Million. On Saturday Chad was on the sideline watching the Dolphins get dropped to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-6. This is what Chad Pennington has to say. "I have enjoyed it," Pennington told the AP Friday in his first public comments since his release. "I've learned a lot, become a better professional and a better man because of my experience and my time in New York. I don't regret or feel ashamed about anything that happened to me in my time in New York.

"The most difficult part is just the realization that the organization no longer wants you. You spend eight years there and, in the blink of an eye, you're no longer wanted there."

Well anyways, Chad will be battling for the starting with John Beck and the rookie Chad Henne and Josh McCown. Bill Parcells said he will probably release or trade one of the quarterbacks, I thought he trades Chad. So look for either Josh and John to be traded to relased, in couple weeks.

The NFL season is coming up soon. So I decided to make a article about what you guys should watch for this coming up season.

3 Things What To Watch:

Alright let's get started with the Superbowl champs, New York Giants. What have they done this off-season to raise eye-brows, they have done NOTHING! They lost more then they got. Losing Micheal Stranhan will be a huge loss for them. Now you might question this, think about it. Michael was a true leader on that defense with out him, they probably wouldn't have even made it to the playoffs. Remember when the Giants started off alright then went cold and the HOT then really cool when they couldn't win a game for a while and guess who got them together to keep fighting and keep their playoffs berth alive, Michael got them together and they started to win in the end.

People like Jeremy Shockey tried to break up the team and was blaming the coaching staff, when he was really the problem and they won the Superbowl without him also.

So what should you watch from the Giants pretty much nothing, just watch them struggle through out the whole season. And I still to this day think Eli is a big fat joke!

The San Diego Chargers should be doing some great things this year, if you take a look at their defense they have no holes at all, they look great. Their secondary is top-notch, they have good linebackers also same with the defensive-line. This means their defense will be win games for them, last year the opponents were avg. 18 points pre game on them which isn't good the number should be lower but when you're avg. 26 points pre game on your opponents, that's good right? Now let's see what their offense has, alright the running back position is a lock it looks great, the wide-out spot looks pretty good has a lot of young talent and will get better in the near future.

Now what I'm about to tell you some people think im joking but, Philp Rivers is on the HOT SEAT this is what people don't understand his game was just awful last season, if he does aswful things this coming up season the Chargers will be looking for a new quaterback, to me Philp isn't even a good quaterback some people think he is a great quaterback, he is nowhere there.

Now for the good old New York Jets, boy this team has gone through some up and downs over the years eh? Well this year they were projected to make the playoffs even when they didn't get Brett Favre. You may say "Are you serious?" but yes I am. Look what they did offseason, they drafted great stuff. They drafted Dustin Keller(TE) the guy looks GREAT and people and the media are saying he could be rookie of the year on offense. The guy jumps 41 inches and runs 4.5 forty. They also added Alan Faneca, he is a great offensive-linemen without a doubt. Their wideouts look great Laveranues Coles, Jerricho Cotchery and the young rookie stud who stands 6 feet tall and 4 inches Marcus Henry the guy is going to be a moster, not a lot of people think so, but give him a year or two, watch him grow.

Now lets look at their defense, they look great this is going to be a shut-down defense with any question, they draft a linebacker who has the potential to be a future hall of famer. What he did in the combine for his size a running back can't do, he jump higer and ran faster then Adrian Peterson did and we all know Adrian Peterson but this guy weights some 30 pounds more then AP. Vernon Gholston the rookie from Ohio State is going to be a connon, the only problem with him is his attutide it needs to be changed, he has that attutide where some games he wants to play then some he doesn't. But they will do some great things this year, watch out for the Jets.

Yes! It's official Brett Favre's era in Green Bay is official history right now. The New York Jet's will be getting one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history or the best of all-time. Brett said he can't wait to go up to New York and start practicing with the team and learning the system the Jets run. If I was a Jets fan I would be happy, I would get 2 or 3 solid years of the legend playing for us and probably the Jets can make the playoffs right now.

Now you have to rememeber this has been going on for almost a month now, and just tonight Brett Favre's legendary era has ended where he become a legend in Green Bay. I personally don't know what's going to happen and what Brett will be working with, so I'll do more research and see how they look on paper and if they can really make the playoffs, but with Brett Favre anything is possible.

I wish Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers luck, this coming up season.

Here are my NFC East predictions, I'm doing it in alphabetical order.

Dallas Cowboys: They really have no weaknesses on offense at all, only weakness I see is, who will be the true 2nd string wide-out, because Terrell Owens can't do everything him self. Their defense will be top 3 this year no doubt about it, look what they did they got Adam Jones and Mike Jenkins to help there secondary out, Dallas has one of the biggest linebacker class in the NFL and they are good so nothing to worry in there, Their defensive line is the youngest in NFC East possibly NFC also and really fast so they should be set there.

Record: I see Dallas finishing 13-3(This year again) or 14-2

Best scenario: Everyone stays healthy of course, and they will do great things. They have the weapons to do it.

Worst scenario: Tony Romo goes down for the rest of the season, if he goes down say good by to the playoffs.

New York Giants: They got great things going for them right now, but I'm still having 2nd thoughts on Brandon Jacobs I know he can ran, but will he be there for all 16 games and will he increase his stamina during off-season, other then that, the Giants are solid on offense. Now for the defense they look really good, but I'm thinking to myself who will be there leader of this team since Michael has retired, they need that kinda of leadership to keep on winning.

Record: New York is capable of winning 12+ games this coming up season, if they don't win 12 games, they disappointed me then.

Best scenario: Again Health is the key in every sport, everyone needs to stay health for them to function right and win.

Worst scenario: I'm going to say your offensive linemen, if 1 or 2 of your offensive linemen go down it will be very hard for the backups to handle the top elite defensive pass/run rushers, and the QB or RB will just get hurt.

Philadelphia Eagles: They had a hell of a draft and great off-season. The only thing that really scares me about this team is McNabb if he is 100% the Eagles can do some dangerous things to other teams, but if he is not 100% then the Eagles still keep fight but some how in the end they always come up short and lose by 3 points or 7 points, in the 4th quarter when it matters the most.

Record: I'll say they go 10-6, this year cause they have a hell of a defense right now.

Best scenario: McNabb plays all 16 games and they sure hell can win more then 10 games.

Worst scenario: McNabb goes down again, and they don't have no back up QB's to help out, AJ Feeley is not a good back up in my opinion.

Washington Redskins: Yes they drafted quite a good about of wide-outs, but if Jason Campbell can't get them the ball to them, then it will be a long season for them, Redskins defense is good and that will win games for them not the offense. Jason Campbell needs to step-up, big time this coming up season if he wants to keep his job.

Record: They will finish 8-8 or 9-7.

Best scenario: Jason Campbell need to work his butt off over off-season and then in official season, if he does great then he will starts becoming a elite QB. Right now he is just an avg. QB.

Worst scenario: Jason Campbell goes down and Todd Collins messes up and Colt won't be so great his first year in the NFL, cause he doesn't understand the system that great yet, like he does understands the "west-coast all out passing offense" and also they need to make sure Clinton Portis stays health this season.
